Thank you for taking the time to visit Jim & Nick's support page. This past September our brothers Jim Simon (39) & Nick Simon (32) were both diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. This unimaginable circumstance has put a heavy weight on our family's heart. We wanted to create this page to share the love and support throughout their battle against cancer & to let them know that they are not alone.
Here is a little bit about Jim & Nick:
Our brother Jim was diagnosed with colon cancer September 9th. He has already undergone a successful surgery, however the cancer had already spread to his liver. Jim's treatment plan entails 6 months of chemotherapy. Jim is a graduate of Neshaminy High school, class of 1995 who played the trumpet & tuba in the Neshaminy Band. He was also a Boy Scout for many years. Jim is an avid video game player and also enjoys golfing & bowling. The Jersey Devils is his favorite hockey team. He has been a super fan of the band NIN ever since their existance. Jim was an associate of the Kmart Distribution Center for almost 20 years and started his new career with Keystone Automotive Operations over a year ago. He is married to the love of his life Valerie, who has been his steadfast rock. Jim & Val moved to Georgia 2 years ago and have 3 adorable fur-babies.
Our brother Nick was diagnosed with stomach cancer September 23rd. He will be receiving intense chemotherapy treatments 7 days a week for the next 6 months. Nick is also a graduate of Neshaminy High school, class of 2002 who played the trombone in the Neshaminy band. Just like his big brother he was also a Boy Scout for many years. Nick's favorite football team is the Philadelphia Eagles. He loves to play golf and collect Marvel Comic nostalgia. He also enjoys shooting pool & is a member of the Young Guns pool team. He worked at the Hulmeville Inn for 10 years & is well known in the community as a popular bartender/cook. For over a year he has been an associate of Jon Don. His faithful companion Duke is a 3 year old Chihuahua Yorkie mix who never leaves his side.
If you know our brothers, then you know they would give the shirts off their backs to help anyone in need. Please know that your donations are greatly appericated in helping save our brothers' lives. We will keep you posted on our brothers' road to recovery. Our family is asking for your prayers.
Cancer Sucks!!!
Love Always,
Josh, Becky & Geoff
