Simon Peter Duvall

We need help to bring Simon Duvall home.

On June 23rd our friend Simon Duvall passed away alone in a Niagara Falls, Ontario hotel room. Simon had no living relatives and no money, which is why we’re reaching out to you to help raise $5,000 for his final arrangements.

Simon was a private man, but before his death, he endured crushing personal crises. We still don’t know if these traumas contributed to Simon’s passing, but it’s clear he had dozens of friends. We all loved and admired Simon for his intelligence, wit, wisdom, and fierce dedication to social justice and Orlando’s improv comedy scene.

The money raised would be used to have Simon’s remains returned from Canada to Orlando where we can arrange to put him to rest with love and dignity. In addition to these fees, this would help get both his remains and his personal effects shipped back to Orlando as well.

As Simon spent most of his adult life writing about the cruise industry, we believe Simon would appreciate having his ashes scattered in the sea that he loved so much.

Please give whatever you can spare in memory of Simon.

Any money that we raise over our goal will be donated to the rescue where Simon got his beloved dog, Jeffery.
