Simon Mwai’s Farewell

It is with deep sorrow we announce the sudden death and promotion to glory of our Dad, Simon Mwai. Simon was husband to Rahab Mwai, and father to Elizabeth (Shiku) and Juliet Mwai. Simon was a devoted member of Neema Gospel Church and an active member of the community.
Simon Mwai was diagnosed with cancer in June 2020 and has been having chemo therapy. Since then he was in and out of the hospital multiple times but everytime he came back home, he was strong than when he went. Unfortunately his cancer was already at stage 4 when discovered, so his treatment was more so to help him be comfortable due to the extent of how much the cancer had spread. In the new year he was very excited and went to church for the first time since he was diagnosed. On the 7th Mwai was rushed to the hospital with chest pain and difficulty breathing and was admitted for further treatment. On the 18th at 9.30 pm he was promoted to glory. May his soul rest in peace
