Our Brother  and Life Director Simon Garcia had a bacterial infection in the ventricle of his heart.  The stress that the infection put on his heart revealed an aneurysm on the aortic side.  Open heart surgery was performed to clean out the infection and replace both valves in his heart. He has undergone that procedure but his kidneys and liver were not functioning and his lungs were not oxygenating his blood.
