Hi, my name is Shanay I’m 19, and I’m reaching out during one of the hardest times in my life.

We have recently lost my Uncle, someone who meant so much to our family. His passing has been incredibly sudden and heartbreaking, and we are all still trying to come to terms with the loss. He was a kind, caring, and genuine person who always showed up for the people he loved. Whether it was through his support, his humour, or simply being there when it mattered most, he left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

As a family, we want to give him the farewell he truly deserves a respectful and meaningful service to celebrate his life and say our goodbyes properly. Unfortunately, the costs involved with funeral arrangements and services have come at a time when we are not financially prepared, and it has added extra stress to an already painful situation.

To make things even more difficult, his mother , my grandmother is currently in hospital and is suffering from Alzheimer’s and dementia. This has been incredibly hard on our family emotionally, as she is unable to fully understand or process the loss of her son, and we are trying our best to support her while navigating our own grief.

We are asking for any support to help cover the costs of his funeral, memorial service, and related expenses. Every contribution, no matter how small, will go directly towards giving him a proper send-off and easing the financial burden on our family.
