In November 2022, our family went through something that no one prepares you for and not enough people talk about. We lost our baby to miscarriage.

For me, my wife, and our oldest daughter Eilidh, it was devastating. There are no other words for it. You grieve something you never got to hold, and you do it largely in silence because society still does not know how to talk about it.

What got us through was having the right people around us. Simba were there for our family at the hardest point in our lives, and that support meant more than I can put into words.

Then, in October 2023, our rainbow baby Lily arrived. She completed our family of four and reminded us that hope is real.

I have carried this experience with me every day since. As the owner of Fraser Finance Solutions, I spend my days helping businesses move forward financially. But this challenge is personal.

On the day of the event, I will be taking on 54 holes of golf across three courses: starting at Ranfurly Golf Club, moving to Old Ranfurly, and finishing at Elderslie Golf Club. No buggy. Just an electric trolley, two legs, and whatever energy I have left by the back nine at Elderslie.

Every penny raised goes to Simba, a charity that walks alongside families when they need it most.
