Simba Needs Surgery!

Hi Friends and Family :)

It is through both tears and gratitude that I write today in support of the love of my life, my first pet, Simba Brown. Simba is an 8-month-old Bengal kitten who has very quickly stolen my heart, as well as the hearts of everyone he meets. Simba is truly my sun, moon, and all the stars. He is the greatest joy in my life. Simba has a huge personality—he is vocally opinionated and loves children, the outdoors, and occasionally stealing some food off my plate at dinner. Simba travels all over the country with me—he’s been to New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, and even Disneyland. He is truly my best friend.

But tonight, I am heartbroken—full of tears because my best friend is sick, and is currently undergoing surgery I can’t afford. Simba has been sick for days, and has become unrecognizable. I’m devastated. He has a large blockage in his small intestine, and without the surgery, it will perforate and he will get sicker. I’ve only had Simba since August, and he has changed my life. He needs the surgery urgently.

So, I am reaching out to friends and family to see if anyone has a couple of dollars to spare to help. I cannot afford the surgery on my own. I know I may not be able to raise all of it (his surgery is a staggering ten thousand dollars) but even the smallest amount helps pay for Simba’s medical bills. He is my best friend, and he is in trouble. It’s not easy to ask for help—but I humbly am asking my loved ones if they have anything to spare <3.

The reason for my gratitude is not to go unnoticed--the doctors know what the problem is, and it is fixable. Simba can heal fast, come home, and return to being his normal self. I am grateful that it is possible for Simba to recover, and that we have so many loved ones who might consider helping. So today, I practice love and gratitude alongside my sadness and fear. Thank you all.
