As everyone knows, my mom recently moved back to California in January 2016 to be closer to me and my family. She was in Tennessee for 11 years. We have a lot of catching up to do. Which is why I'm reaching out.....She was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer. I was with her in the doctors office when he told her. I've never seen her so scared. We only learned about a mass on her lung in Dec 2016 due to pneumonia. Then when she was hospitalized for atrial fibrillation in April they discovered the mass has grown. So her doctor at the pulmonary clinic in Fairfield told her about the upcoming MRI's, and PET scans, and a whole bunch of other tests. He mentioned Chemo, and radiation. Friends, I'm at a loss here. I don't really know what to do, except pray. Pray for a miracle. But with driving back and forth to Travis, and her missing so much work, it has become a drain on my parents financially. So this is me, asking you, my family and friends, for some help. Anything helps! This will ease their minds a little, and will allow my dad to stay home from work and be with my mom. ( he's still working because the cost of living in California is more than his retirement covers. He needs a break). Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will forever be grateful to you.
