Silvia Rojas Memorial

When God decided to make Silvia Rojas, the main ingredients were love, laughter, and grit with a side of refried beans, enchiladas, pancakes, and Mazola Corn Oil. She was born to Salvador Ramirez and Maria Venegas on June 20, 1945 in the city of Guadalajara, Mexico - one in a total of 10 siblings.

Silvia migrated to the United States in the 60’s where she worked early on as a seamstress in downtown Los Angeles. She was also heavily involved in direct sales where she sold Avon, Jafra, Amway, Shaklee, Tupperware, Princess House, Herbalife, and Melaleuca

She was constantly dancing and loved boogying to any genre of music. Her soul was especially moved by Mariachis and you could always hear her letting out a cathartic grito anytime she heard the violins, trumpets, guitars, and guitarrón. At family parties, she was either somewhere dancing or singing along with the mariachis. She often brought life to parties with her infectious and fun-loving attitude.

More importantly, Silvia was also a loving mother to three - Patricia, Jorge, and Jaime. She was also a devoted and caring wife to Jose Rojas, who at this time, is trying to adjust without the love of his life who on November 27th, succumbed to injuries suffered from a tragic accident at home.

This campaign was set up in response to the many requests from those looking to help our family. The money raised through this gofundme will help lighten the financial burden left by her sudden passing.  We thank you for your support.
