Help Silvia Pinto and her family rebuild their lives after the horrific Eaton fire. This family’s life in Altadena was burned to the ground with everything they owned: beloved belongings, sentimental items, basic necessities, everything. Any amount is deeply appreciated to help them find their way. I want my friend to have clothes, food, and find a new beginning as soon as possible.
As a friend who is setting this up- I have great guilt as someone less affected. I, myself had to stay with my 100 year old grandfather (making sure he was safe) while having a view of the mountains my friends and I grew up enjoying, burn around me. I’m mortified. I’m very sorry for everyone’s loss. I feel incredible remorse and loss for those around me. And for all those families who have been through everything they have.
Upwards of 20 people I have known in high school and beyond are without basic necessities now. Please help change that.
Silvia is my friend from school and club swimming. She is a very talented and capable person. She’s an amazing theatrical artist, writer, and more. She has a bright future. Silvia and her family need your help to reach that future of hers, which she has worked so hard for.
I am incredibly grateful to have been welcomed into the Altadena community every time I visiting those families I love. With all this said as a community we will rebuild and continue to support each other. I hope everyone stays safe and altruistic.
With so much appreciation,
Thorson Pearson (friend of the family)
