Me and my mother have been hotel-hopping since January while trying to acquire stable housing. The quarantine affected our way of keeping ourselves afloat (my mother got laid off) and our family members refuse to let us stay with them over previous problems we've had. My mother has been in remission from thyroid cancer since the start of the year as well, and her health is steadily degrading from her current, minimum wage rate job, and I have no way of getting efficient work quickly. Her ex-husband and my step-father was supposed to be on a schedule of paying her alimony biweekly (400$ one week and 900$ after) but he doesn't stick to the schedule and sometimes pays days, weeks, or months after the due date. I'm not sure how long my mother can last and this lockdown has hit us hard and we need all the help we can get. Thank you.
