In 2014 aged 34 Letitia Linke was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. The mother of two young boys has been fighting the disease for the past two years with surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and hormone treatment.

Letitia is passionate about educating women about the signs and symptoms of the disease and raising funds for more research.

The Adelaide Silver Style Cocktail Party 2016 in support of the OCRF will be held on Saturday 15 October 2016 from 7.30 pm to midnight. At $150 per ticket, the event is targeted mainly at professional women in their 30s and 40s and their partners, with the aim of raising awareness and raising funds in support of the OCRF’s vital research endeavours.

This is an authorised fundraising event in support of the OCRF, and all proceeds from any auctions and the ticket sales (less specific event costs) will be donated direct to the OCRF.

While ovarian cancer is most common in women over 50, there is an alarming number of women in their 30s and early 40s who are unaware of the symptoms of ovarian cancer and are typically diagnosed with the disease when it is too late. We are therefore targeting this group to raise awareness amongst their peers.
