Silverio Santana

It is with a heavy heart to announce that Silverio Santana (Chivis) a beloved son, husband, father, brother, grandfather and loving friend to all has gained his wings and is in the arms of God. We ask for prayers and anything you can contribute to lay him to rest. Papachivis as we called him was a devoted husband and father and grandfather. He was an amazing man and was there to take care of his family. He was always so happy and always made everyone smile no matter the situation. He was one of the most hardworking man, most generous and the funniest man ever!! He touched so many people lives and loved by so many. He supported my grandmother through her aneurysm, heart surgery and cancer battle. Through the pandemic, he sacrificed his life and safety to support his household and family. My grandfather was hospitalized on 12/26/2020 from COVID-pneumonia that lead to more complications. The doctors were optimistic that he would make a recovery as he had no underlying health condition. Unfortunately, his condition continued to worsen. He fought as hard as he could and on 1/14/2021 he passed on to be with the Lord. God took him to protect him and we know he’s in a better place and no longer suffering. This is an unexpectedly tragic loss for his wife and our family. It has been very devastating and heart breaking to process. An integral part of our family is now missing and we’re left with a hole that could never be filled. We will move forward by remembering all the wonderful memories we shared with his loving most funny personality. He was the sole provider for his wife and family. During this difficult time, we are asking for any donation will help to pay to lay him to rest, medical expenses and help my grandmother through this unbelievable transition. Anything we’ll be appreciated. Thank you to all who have reached and have prayed with us.
There is nothing more difficult than living without you, Until we meet again papachivis.
