Sly Rivera an A journeyman in Local Union #3 I.B.E.W He has been an active member over many years of service. Always giving his time, teaching in the apprenticeship program, volunteering on the foreman committee, a member of the Santiago Iglesias Educational Society, the Bronx Acorn and Local 3 Motorcycle club.  A great union brother, he is a father and grandfather . Sly was struck by another vehicle while riding his motorcycle home from work in which he suffered a horrible injury. The doctors were forced to amputate part of his leg and foot. He is going to have a long road on his way to recovery. The family asks for your help and support for a man who has given to so many.  We appreciate any help towards a healthy recovery .
