The High School of Art & Design SILVER SENIORS - Class of '85 is establishing a scholarship to help a graduating A&D senior continue their creative studies. The awardee will also be connected to Class of '85 mentors throughout their college career.

The goal is to raise a minimum of $5,000 and award a $1,000 scholarship a year until the fund is depleted.

Once this campaign reaches its goal, the money will be given to the High School of Art & Design Alumni Association. The Alumni Association will work with A&D faculty to identify the students.

CRITERIA

• The student must be an outstanding graduating senior

with a cumulative grade average of 80 (B) or higher

• The student must submit an acceptance letter to an advanced creative program.

• The student must submit an essay on how art has changed them or how they feel art can bring change to our society.

• Finalists will be selected by the HS of Art & Design faculty.

MENTORING

The selected student will receive mentoring from Class of '85 alumni.
