Hey everyone,

It comes with a weighty heart and a mighty blow to my pride as a father and head of a household to ask this of everyone, but I am at the end of options, as everything else has been either attempted (pawning and selling everything we own that's not bolted down), but still not enough. As everyone has read, heard, or seen, my family has been hit with severe back-to-back hardships (most are from my illnesses, including recent heat exhaustion and seizures that required an ER visit for 9 hours and various other financial setbacks). We were forced to move from our home in Pearl due to foreclosure, having to file Chapter 7 bankruptcy, and loss of job for me as a result of the move. I am now awaiting the start of another job on August 4th, so I am just trying to keep my head above water until paychecks start coming in faithfully again.

$500 is all that is needed for bills to be current and paid. Still, I kindly ask for $1000 to cover the bills due in August (gas for vehicles, food, insurance), and we also came across a baby kitten on the side of the road who needed our help badly. He is recovering as we speak, but he needs veterinary assistance with worming and vaccinations. When it rains, it pours.
