Lance and Stephanie Gwartney are going through a very tough stretch right now. They have had difficulites in the past trying to conceive and finally with lots of prayer, patience, and tears they were blessed to have Silas Lee Gwartney on March 22nd, 2017. They found out when Silas was 6 weeks old that he had hydrocephalus. Hydrocephalus is a build up of fluid on the brain. It required surgery as soon as possible. They met with the neurosurgeon and decided Silas needed a shunt put in to remove the swelling. They went to OKC and the surgery was a success.

Those of us who know Lance and Stephanie know that they are both hard working and dedicated teachers that would do anything to help someone out in need. They are faithful and devoted followers of Jesus Christ. With Stephanie having to finish up the school year on maternity leave and Lance just starting his masters program to become a prinicpal in January, things were going to be tight. Now with the hospital bills piling up from the birth of Silas, pediatrician appointments, eye exams for Silas, neurosurgery, hospital stays and several other bills, they are in need of support from friends and family. Please be praying for this precious family and also if you could do anything to help them out financially I know that they would greatly appreciate it!
