Just before Christmas, Jason ‘Jay’ Sigurdson and his family received the news that everybody dreads... cancer.
My daughter and Jay and Michelle’s daughter have been friends since kindergarten and we have grown to know and love their whole family. Jay is one of the hardest working people I have ever known
, along with being a genuinely kind and selfless person and wonderful father.
Jason and Michelle would never ask for help from anyone, but after some nudging they have agreed to let me try to help raise some funds towards their upcoming medical bills. They have researched the possible treatment centres and the best outlook for them is travelling to Arizona for specialized care; Jay leaves on January 2 2019 for the first step in this journey.
