School for Mumbai Street Children

Signal school is a school run by NGO and volunteers in Mumbai in India for street children.

Children born into poverty who end up begging on the streets of Mumbai under signal lights are deprived of education.

Signal School was started to end this cycle of poverty and provide these children with an opportunity to educate themselves and have a better future.

Signal School operates out of a shipping container!

The students are street children who are given one meal a day, clean clothes and access to sanitation at the school. The school tries to fulfil their basic needs and provide a education. The school is  not funded by the government...and a small amount goes a long way in India.

Please give what you can to support these children to have a better chance at life.
