About the project:
What does love feel like when you experience the world differently?
“Signals” is a romantic film about Lukas, a young man on the autism spectrum, who falls in love with his classmate Julia. What sounds simple becomes an emotional journey full of misunderstandings, vulnerability, and the deep desire to connect.
This feature film is a remake of my short film, which already touched many people:
Why this film matters:
Autism is often misunderstood. Many people only see stereotypes – but rarely the emotional reality behind them.
“Signals” aims to change that.
This film shows:
- the inner world of an autistic person
- the challenges in everyday life (school, relationships, communication)
- and the beauty, depth, and complexity of human connection
As an autistic filmmaker myself, this story is deeply personal. I’m not telling this story from the outside – I’m telling it from within.
Why we need your support:
We are currently in the final phase of production.
Your donation will help us:
- complete post-production (editing, sound, color grading)
- prepare the film for release
- bring this story to a wider audience
Every contribution – no matter how small – brings us one step closer to finishing the film.
What you get:
As a thank you, all supporters will be credited by name in the film and listed on platforms like IMDb.
But more importantly:
You become part of a project that helps create understanding, visibility, and change.
