Sign Language School in Mexico

Maria Nunez retired from LBUSD and moved to her native Ensenada. Soon, she completed a dream and learned sign language. That's when she realized that there were no public educational opportunities for the deaf community. She volunteered her time and reached out to a generous family member to pay the rent for a classroom. They have managed to keep the lights on, but could really use the help to stay open another year. It cost $5 per day to pay utilities and needed materials. Please open up your hearts to help fund this project that provides signing, literacy, and art to a loving community.
