Sigma for Clark Atlanta University



Greetings,

As we celebrate the beginning of this new year, Clark Atlanta University also prepares to celebrate its 30th Anniversary. As part of this monumental celebration at our illustrious institution, we would like to embark on a special celebratory fundraising mission and would love for every soror initiated into Sigma Chapter to participate.

Many HBCU’s struggle to meet the financial demands that are necessary for them to stay on par with many other Universities. This struggle is often due to the lack of alumni giving. Clark Atlanta University is no exception. Our goal is to make a substantial monetary contribution to CAU from all of Sigma Chapter to assist our beloved institution and commemorate the 30th anniversary of CAU. We all remember the good times that CAU provided us as students, and now enjoy a good time when we come back to campus for homecoming. To ensure that we continue to have a place to come “home” and that students in the future are able to experience all that CAU has given to each of us, we must give back.

If each soror from Sigma chapter were to contribute $30 a month from March to September, our chapter could present a gift of $100,000 to CAU. The funds will be used to award a combination of academic and financial need scholarships. Our goal is to make this presentation during Homecoming. The deadline for giving is 9/30/2018.
