Golden Heart is our beloved SigEp tradition revived in 2022 with the goal of blending fun and philanthropy. Throughout the week-long competition, nominees compete for the honorary title of SigEp’s 2026-2027 “Golden Heart.” Most importantly, this year’s collaborative efforts will raise a significant amount of money for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and spread mental health awareness around the Truman Community!

Brought back in memory of our brother, who lost his life after a long battle with mental health, we are attempting to raise $16,000 this year to foster a successful fraternal philanthropy that brings everyone in our community together. Through your help, we will bring the epidemic of mental health to the forefront of national attention and show that we can all stand united together to ensure that life is always worth living.
