Sigma Nu's Fight Against Childhood Cancer

After the success of last year's philanthropy event with the popular DJ, R3HAB, the men of Sigma Nu Theta Rho were able to raise $15,000 for the Susan G. Komen fund. This year, they have to decided to raise awareness and funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital with the help of musical group, Two Friends.
Every year thousands of families are affected by a terrible disease that we all know too well, cancer. Since founded in 2016, Sigma Nu Theta Rho has been steadfast in our mission to promote cancer awareness. By joining millions across the globe in a rather ambitious goal, eradicating this vicious condition.
Raising cancer awareness to the public has been our mission for years. In 2013, our very own Brother Tony Braglia lost his mother Heidi to cancer after a courageous fight. Even more recently our Brother Michael Plantamura lost a dear friend, Jake Vandermyde, after a 7 year battle with cancer. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital put Jake in their care during his battle.
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats, and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Their mission is clear, finding cures. to save children's lives. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food - because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
We believe this will serve as the perfect opportunity to gather the ISU community toward a phenomenal cause - yet, dreams, as we all know, don’t run on faith alone.
To date, thanks to the efforts of Cole Douglas (President) & Michael Plantamura (Vice President), we have secured sponsorships from local businesses, including Young America Realty, DP Dough, First Site Realty, and several others.
In addition, we are also humbly asking for donations. ALL proceeds will go directly to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. No donation is too small and your donation WILL help make a difference.
We have faith that this GoFundMe effort will exceed expectations and we sincerely thank you for your love and support.
