The Theta Tau Chapter of Sigma Chi at Texas State has come a long way. Ever since our installation in 1984, our chartering in 1986, and our re-founding in 2009 we have all worked diligently to become the premiere leadership organization on campus. Now that our chapter is expanding so quickly we are having a dificult time fitting us all in a room on campus for chapter meetings.
In order to conduct ritual meetings properly we need more space and why not have it in the privacy of our own property. Having this space would also allow us to be able to practice initiation, have events like parents day, and Derby Days. Starting this project now is building a bridge for better chapter meetings, better initiations, better events and better brotherhood.
A large part of the human experience is creating long lasting memories and being able to enjoy them with your closest friends. We should always be able to come back to our chapter with our closest friends we worked so hard with and be able to say looking back over all of it that this is home. Let's keep building.
