Siggy has been my best friend for the last 10 years. I got her as a puppy, and she's been with me through thick and thin. She's been my emotional support through depressive episodes and losses. I couldn't ask for a better dog or friend.

She started having seizures due to an aspirin overdose and requires a 48-72 hour stay at our emergency vet as well as IV medications to help with the seizures, organ damage, and brain swelling.

The cost for treatment is between $6000 and $7000. I'm asking for any help we can get. My wife is a full-time student in an MSW program, and I work full-time to provide what I can, but this unexpected vet bill is going to put us into a really hard spot financially.
