Sierra has been nominated by her school to experience a once in a lifetime opportunity. She will travel to Washington, DC this summer for 6 days and attend the Junior National Young Leaders Conference. 

During this trip to Washington DC, she will gain the tools neccesary to help her develop key skills to become an effective leader. This will help prepare her to face future challenges and create positive changes in her school and our community. 

 While there she  will have the oppurtunity to visit The National Museum of American History, Lincoln, Vietnam Veterans, and Korean War Memorials. Then on her last night she will get to spend the night at the Maryland Science Center.

The Junior National Young Leaders Conference offers mature, high-achieving students the opportunity to learn about leadership by studying the leaders of the past and by focusing on social advocacy to make a positive impact in their homes and communities. Through an examination of both different historical time periods and characteristics of leadership, students will gain a better understanding of what it takes to become an effective leader.

This will be an incredible experience for Sierra! We are  beyond excited and proud of her. To get Sierra to Washington DC  we could really use the help from people who love her! No donation is too small or too big.
