Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out on behalf of my dear friend Sierra, a single mother, nursing student, and one of the strongest women I know.

On the morning of July 6, 2025, her mother suffered a hemorrhagic stroke. By the grace of God, she survived and has been fighting every day to recover. She'll finally be coming home on August 4, which is a huge milestone, but it also brings a whole new set of challenges.

Sierra has taken on the role of full-time caregiver while continuing to care for her young child and pursue her nursing degree. She's doing everything she can, but she can't do this alone.

Why She Needs Help:

Sierra doesn't have reliable transportation to get her mom to the many follow-up appointments and outpatient therapy sessions that are vital to her healing.

Although her mom has insurance, it doesn't cover the Home Health services or the medical equipment she needs at home—things like a hemi walker, wheelchair, bedside toilet, and shower chair.

With her mom unable to work, bills are piling up, and the financial pressure is growing daily.
