Sierra Leone Community in Quebec

The people of Sierra Leone have undergone several tragic experiences in the last few years. The most recent occurred on the 14th of August, extreme down pour of rain caused flooding, which led to a mudslide.
This gruesome tragedy has led to over 450 fatalities and still counting, which includes children, who are the most vulnerable. As the Sierra Leone community in Quebec, lead by the President Modibo Lymon, we have decided to launch a fund raiser in order to help the survivors, benefiting the children of Freetown, in our beloved home town.
Our community in Canada believes that the children of Freetown are tomorrow's leaders therefore we want to ensure that their needs do not go with out during this difficult time.
Basic necessities like clothing, school supplies and food is of immediate need as all has been lost in this tragedy.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 which will be used to help them gradually get back to normalcy.
All funds raised will be donated by check, to a local charity in Freetown for implementation, in December 2017.
Join us to achieve this goal by donating generously to humanity. Nothing will be considered too small.
