Sierra Hooey's medical needs

Donation protected
My daughter Sierra was attacked by a dog on Monday June 22nd. It was an unprovoked attack at Sierra's friends house. The owners do not have insurance and with COVID-19 I have not worked since March. Sierra has had 1 trauma surgery so far requiring 50 stitches on her face, and an unknown amount in her mouth (the surgeon did not say). She has 4 holes in her cheeks, 1 k9 tooth went through her upper gum line into her mouth, a 2nd k9 pierced her lower gum line into her mouth. The lower laceration tore muscles and did nerve damage. It has knocked the 4 front teeth loose (1 was barely attached). Sierra will require future cosmetic surgeries to repair the scars. She has been to a dental surgeon to repair the damage and he has done a wonderful job so far. We are trying to save the teeth with a dental splint but we wont know for a few more weeks if the teeth will live. Our medical and dental bills are starting to pile up. The dog owner do not have insurance. We are on our own at this point. Our medical/dental insurance covers a small amount and have used that up with the first trip to the dental surgeon. All visits after this will come out of our pockets at this point. This gofundme is not for us, it is directly for Sierra's medical and dental needs in the short term and will be deposited into a trust account to cover her the costs in the immediate future. Thank you so very for reading our story. Sierra has a beautiful soul with a gigantic heart and did not deserve this.
