Our dear friend Sierra and her family are facing an incredibly difficult season. For the past month, Sierra’s father has been in the hospital, and she has stepped up as one of his main caregivers. Because of this, she hasn’t been able to work while also trying to care for her own family.

The stress of this situation led to preterm labor, and now her baby will most likely remain in the NICU until December. Sierra is navigating the challenge of caring for her newborn an hour away from home, while also supporting her other young child and planning to drive her father to his ongoing medical appointments.

The financial strain is overwhelming. Gas, food, lodging, bills, and everyday essentials have become a daily concern, all while she has been unable to work and her responsibilities continue to grow.

Sierra and her family are loving, strong, and deeply deserving of support. They have held off asking for help for as long as possible, but now the reality is that they need our support more than ever.
