~In Loving Memory of Our Grandma~

On Monday, June 30th, we said goodbye to our beloved grandmother a woman whose faith, warmth, and generosity touched everyone who knew her. She wasn’t just a grandma; she was a keeper of memories, a source of love, and the heart of our family.

She was deeply close to God, and her faith guided everything she did. She prayed constantly …for her family, her friends, and even people she’d only met once. Her relationship with God gave her a quiet strength, and that strength made her a comfort and a light to so many.

If you knew her, you probably remember her food, because she always made sure people were fed. Whether it was a simple meal or a holiday feast, everything she made came with love and care. Her cooking wasn’t just about feeding your body, it fed your spirit too. Her table was always open, and many of us have memories of sitting around it, sharing food, stories, and laughter.

She knew so many people, and so many people loved her. Through church, neighbors, family, and friends, she built a community of care. She never met a stranger only someone she hadn’t helped yet. Her kindness left a lasting mark.

As we plan her memorial and funeral, we’re asking for support to help give her the farewell she deserves. Any donation, no matter the size, will help us celebrate her life in the way she would have wanted: with love, faith, food, and family all around.

~En Memoria de Nuestra Querida Abuela~

El lunes 30 de junio, nos despedimos de nuestra amada abuela una mujer cuya fe, calidez y generosidad tocaron a todos los que la conocieron. No era solo una abuela; era la guardiana de recuerdos, una fuente de amor y el corazón de nuestra familia.

Estaba profundamente unida a Dios, y su fe guiaba todo lo que hacía. Oraba constantemente por su familia, sus amigos e incluso por personas que solo había conocido una vez. Su relación con Dios le daba una fuerza silenciosa, y esa fuerza la convirtió en consuelo y luz para muchos.

Si la conociste, probablemente recuerdes su comida porque siempre se aseguraba de que nadie se quedara con hambre. Ya fuera una comida sencilla o un banquete festivo, todo lo que preparaba lo hacía con amor y dedicación. Su cocina no solo alimentaba el cuerpo, también alimentaba el alma. Su mesa siempre estaba abierta, y muchos de nosotros tenemos recuerdos compartiendo comida, historias y risas alrededor de ella.

Conocía a muchísimas personas, y muchísimas personas la querían. A través de la iglesia, los vecinos, la familia y los amigos, construyó una comunidad basada en el cuidado. Nunca conoció a un extraño solo a alguien a quien aún no había ayudado. Su bondad dejó una huella imborrable.

Mientras organizamos su memorial y funeral, pedimos su apoyo para darle la despedida que se merece. Cualquier donación, sin importar el monto, nos ayudará a celebrar su vida como a ella le habría gustado: con amor, fe, comida y familia reunidos.
