On October 9, Terry was diagnosed with Lymphoma.  He began chemo treatments immediately, and they seemed to go well.  In December, Terry developed a staph infection which resulted in 2 surgeries on his foot.  He spent 3 weeks in the hospital and an additional 2 weeks in a nursing home for rehab care.  In February, Terry developed a high fever and spent almost 2 weeks in the hospital.  He was admitted for a third time on March 31.  This is all on top of a degenerative muscular disorder he has been dealing with.  Because of his medical issues, Terry had to retire early.  In addition to costly medical treatments and hospital bills are gas and parking fees.
