Sid's Handy Mart Fire Relief Fund

Hi everyone- my sister Monica and I are currently seeking support for our family’s small business that was suddenly devastated by a large fire earlier this morning (May 2nd, 2022).
Our parents, Paul and Seunghye, have operated this small convenience store since 2014. For almost the last decade, they have been working tirelessly 365 days a year to provide necessities to the local community, including throughout the pandemic. It has been shocking and devastating to discover the extent of the damage to both the physical building and the products they had inside.
The investigation is still ongoing and while the cause of the fire is still uncertain, it is anticipated that they will be unable to work, support their employees, or reopen for at least 6 months. We would greatly appreciate any and all support during this difficult time as our parents attempt to recover from the loss of their livelihood. All funds will be used to support the recovery effort of rebuilding Sid's Handy Mart, and supporting our parents and their staff in the meantime. We will post updates here along the way. 금일 (5/2/2022) 아침에 저희 부모님께서 운영하시는 조그마한 가게에 갑작스레 일어난 화재와 관련해 여러분께 도움을 청하고자 이렇게 글을 올립니다.
저희 부모님 (Paul, Seunghye)께서는 2014년부터 현재까지 코로나 대유행 시기를 포함 근 10년 동안 이 가게에서 쉬지않고 일해오시면서 지역상권에 이바지해 오셨습니다. 그런 만큼, 이번 화재의 막심한 피해로 인한 저희 가족의 금전적, 정신적 충격이 얼마나 큰 지는 이루 말할 수가 없습니다.
화재의 원인은 아직 조사중에 있습니다만 가게가 새로 재정비되기까지는 적어도 6개월 이상이 소요된다고 합니다. 여러분께서 조금이나마 도움을 주실 수 있으시다면, 그 작은 정성 하나하나가 저희 부모님께서 다시 일어서시는 데 큰 힘이 되리라 믿어 의심치 않습니다. 모든 금액은 Sid's Handy Mart의 재건에 100% 사용될 것이며 추후 진행상황은 그때그때 업데이트 하도록 하겠습니다.
