Hi, my name is Paul and I am in the midst of writing a history of the longest running weekly repertory theatre company in the UK based at The Manor Pavilion Theatre in Sidmouth, Devon.

Running since 1958 it missed only 2020 and has clocked up over 940 weeks of entertainment. It runs 12 weeks each summer now - no other theatre runs this length of season. It is a rich tradition and history with many stories - some very funny of course! We have archive photos to include going back to the early years as well as up to date pictures and anecdotes. So far some 40 people have helped me tell the story and there will be more.

This is something of a niche subject and so I have to raise the money to publish it through a company but hopefully it will be worth it. The aim is to have it on the shelves in June 2026 so am starting this fundraiser now to ensure it can happen! Fingers crossed! Thank you for your support!
