URGENT: Siddity Escaped Euthanasia — Now She Needs a Foster or She Goes Back to the Shelter
Siddity is a sweet 7-year-old girl who narrowly escaped euthanasia at the South LA Shelter. She was marked for death due to visible tumors on her body — but a compassionate volunteer couldn’t bear to let her go without a chance. That volunteer saved her life, taking her in as a medical foster.
Now, Siddity needs your help again.
She can’t stay where she is much longer, and without a new foster stepping in, Siddity risks going back to the shelter — where she may not get another chance at life.
The good news? Siddity is thriving. An oncologist confirmed that while some of her lumps are cancerous, the cancer hasn’t spread. Surgery isn’t an option due to the tumors’ size, but she’s been prescribed medication to help shrink them and extend her life — and her current foster has generously offered to continue covering the cost of her meds.
Siddity is pain-free, playful, and full of love. She’s living proof that dogs with medical needs can still enjoy a happy, comfortable life. But none of that matters if she ends up back in the shelter system.
We’re urgently seeking:
A kind and committed foster (ideally unpaid) to open their home and heart to Siddity as soon as possible
Donations to support transport, food, supplies, and any additional vet needs
Shares to help us spread the word and find Siddity the safe space she deserves
Let’s give Siddity the stability she needs to find her forever home. She’s come too far to lose her second chance now.
Every share, every dollar, every kind gesture makes a difference.
