Siddharta is Free! Cindi is asking for your help!

Dear Friends,
Siddharta is Free!
Sidd was discharged suddenly and unexpectedly to the streets, after an extended 2 ½ year unjust confinement! The beauty was that despite the lack of any discharge support, including housing, he was set Free!
My 69th birthday was on September 21, 2019, International Peace Day!
Will you join us in celebrating his freedom and my birthday, through a one time or monthly donation to help create a safe home for Siddharta? I am asking for financial support toward our $2000/month rent for the next 9 months, from November 2019, through July 2020, so that a greater vision can be realized!
I am humbled and deeply grateful for the generous support we received toward November's rent! With more spaciousness and less stress, I was able to complete and submit a Letter of Interest, which if approved, will allow me to apply for a grant, that, if approved would be a BIG leap toward the dream of creating a Sanctuary House of Resilience AND a Healing Field of Resilience!
My current request is for support toward our December $2,000/month rent and utilities.
Our current housing situation is a temporary blessing, but also critically unstable. Siddharta cannot officially qualify to be on any regular apartment lease, due to discriminatory criteria, even with a special ADA accommodation request. He is not on my lease, and guest are allowed a maximum overnight stay of 14 days a year! In addition all specialized housing for marginalized people in Washington State have long waiting list, many of which "the waiting list are closed."
Thus, he can only be in my apartment legally as a guest during the day, and his official bedroom must be the mini-van on the street at night. Understandably, he does not always stay in it.
When Siddharta was once again unjustly confined 2 1/2 years ago, my dark night of the Soul began. After 7 years of advocacy, Sidd was the last of a number of people I had helped free, who had also once again been sucked back in to the broken and harmful mental health system.
Recognizing that very little had changed, at my lowest point, I moved into a mini-van to rethink my advocacy and my life.
I moved out 2 ½ years later when Siddharta was set free.
A metamorphosis happened in that shape-shifting van during that 30 month time period, and I emerged with the Wind Beneath My Wings.
Synchronistically, that Odyssey was recorded in picture and words by a gifted artist, which is partially told in the cover picture, and continues here,
Regrounding Love: Shattering and Remembering
My vision is to co-create a healing home for Siddharta and others in Vancouver, inspired by the success of Mount Tahoma Sanctuary and The Healing Field , in Tacoma, Washington. Your one time or monthly donation will contribute toward our monthly rent and utilities so that I have the spaciousness, creative energy, time, and resources available to collaborate with my local peers and allies, strengthened by guidance from Siddharta and Tacoma’s healing field experience, to manifest that vision.
When my lease ends in July 2020, I am envisioning moving into our version of a sanctuary home for transformation and healing, supported and enjoyed by a local healing field community in Vancouver, WA. Please join me in creating this vision!
One time or monthly donations, and/or words of guidance and inspiration are welcomed, no matter how big or small, long or short! Over the next 9 months, I will be sharing monthly stories and pictures of our journey up to this point: Siddharta and I traveled to Standing Rock to bear witness with the Water Protectors in 2016; Finland's Open Dialogue , for 30 years the world's most successful model for treating schizophrenia, is now in the United States on the West Coast, Open Dialogue Pacific , and I am being trained as a facilitator; I have started a petition for Justice for the TrueBlood Members/Survivors , of which Siddharta is one; I have a powerful story to share and amazing pictures of my 4 seasons, twice over, in the shape-shifting van... and so much more to share. Stay Tuned!!!
My Gratitude and My Love to all of you who, over the years, have been and continue to be the wind beneath my wings.
Namaste’,
