On Thursday, October 8th, Sid and Alery Broderius’ apartment caught fire from a faulty clothes dryer while no one was home.
We are very lucky that both the couple and their dogs are safe and sound, but now their apartment has been deemed unlivable and 85% of their belongings are unsalvageable. While insurance will be covering some of their major belongings, it’s going to take some time and they are still currently without clothes, toiletries, food and are incurring the cost of staying in a hotel until they can find a new home.
