Sick Mother of 10 Needs Your Help

Three years ago, I was battling breast cancer. The alternative treatment route I had chosen was quite costly and I didn’t have the money to help save my life. Because I was determined NOT to be treated conventionally by having a double mastectomy AND a long regimen of chemo and radiation, I was scared and uncertain and didn’t know what my destiny was going to be. All I could (and would) do was trust in God.
Then, three close and beloved friends of mine started a GoFundMe and thanks to the love and generosity of my contributing friends (and even contributing “Angels” who I didn’t even know), I was able to go to Hope4Cancer in Mexico, where where I found my healing and was declared N.E.D. (No Evidence of Disease) after only 21 days !!!
I’m currently still N.E.D. and physically feeling better NOW than I ever have in my 59 years of life !
Knowing what the love, kindness and generosity from others can do for a person in helping to change and save their life, I am now setting up THIS GoFundMe for someone I feel deserves it more than words can say. Here is her story and I hope you will help ME help HER in saving HER life now too !
Her name is Uconda Perry and she lives in Henrietta, New York and has been for the past 10 years. She is the mother of ten (YES...10) children ranging in age from 3 to 26. She is currently battling breast cancer and in addition to personally raising these 10 amazing children, she’s also raising a 1 year old grandbaby too. To make matters even more complicated for her, her husband of 5 years left her a few months ago and has filed for divorce due to not being able to handle her current physical condition AND the raising of all these children. Then, her landlord of 10 years, announced to her 2 months ago that he had sold the house she has been renting from him to someone and she and her family have to be out of the house by May 31 !
Needless-to-say, she is totally overwhelmed by all of this, but has total faith that God will help her in her greatest time of need; however, even MORE concerning for her right now than the loss of a husband and a home, she simply wants to get well, become cancer free and stay alive, not only for herself but for the sake of her precious children (who she is the sole caretaker of) as well.
I had the privilege of meeting her through a mutual friend of ours who thought hooking us up together would be of help to her since I too had battled breast cancer. In getting to know Uconda more and more, I saw what a wonderful, kind, loving, spiritual woman she is and have become very close to her. I see how her children rely on her FOR EVERYTHING and how attached they are to her. I see the fear in their faces over the thought of losing their mother and I see them trying to keep their Mom’s spirits up daily. I see daily how she handles raising them, taking on-line courses in business, homeschooling all her non adult children, packing all her belongings up to start the moving process, dealing with her impending divorce AND doing all she can to get well. Her situation simply breaks my heart and I want so much to help her, hence my reason for starting this fund raiser.
Thus far, she has already done conventional treatments by having a mastectomy and chemo and has been healing from that as well. After conventional methods did not work for her, I referred her to Hope4Cancer and she recently received her treatment plan back from them and needs $45,000 for treatment of her condition. She wants to go there just like I did, yet has only $1,000 raised so far (which she recently obtained by selling many of her belongings) to put towards this bill. The travel and hotel have been covered and now all she needs is the money for the treatment to save her life.
So today, I ask each and every one of you reading this if you will please contribute to this fund and help Uconda get this treatment so that she can have a chance at a healthy and normal life to continue raising these 11 precious children !
Any amount will be appreciated but if you cannot contribute anything, then please forward this Fund to anyone you know so that maybe they will be able to, and it goes without saying, Uconda and her children need all the prayers they can get ! Please pray for this Fund Raiser to be completed !
