Sick Kittens Need an Incubator!

Hello!

My name is Gabby and I’m a kitten foster parent in Baltimore, MD volunteering with the Maryland SPCA.

I currently have 9 foster kittens in my care. Four of whom are in desperate need of an incubator! These babies are only three weeks old. Their temperatures were so low at a certain point that they weren’t even reading, they’re underweight, and they were weaned too early resulting in some gastrointestinal troubles. Honestly, I wasn’t even going to name them because I wasn’t sure they’d survive the night. But, we’re going to be hopeful. So please welcome Peter Pan and the Darling siblings; Wendy, Michael, and John! Just like believing in fairies, we’re going to believe in these kittens.

Incubators are incredibly expensive, so if you’re willing to contribute and help save a life—these kittens and all the future kittens in my care will greatly appreciate it.

$2,500 will acquire the best incubator on the market (in my so humble opinion) which will provide for kittens for many years to come! Any leftover funds or moneys raised above this amount will go towards more kitten related items.

And a little bit more about me:

My cat journey began in 2017 when I adopted my spicy girl, Vasa Vasa passed very unexpectedly in December of 2022 and I was (and still very much am) heartbroken.

After Vasa passed, I wasn't ready for a new kitty, but I still wanted to help animals in need. I began fostering in January of 2022 and have been working on spreading the word about adoptable animals in Maryland and fostering in general through my Instagram account since April. Since January, I’ve had 32 fosters! My goal was 12 for this year, so I’m pretty happy with that and I hope my fosters are too.

I’ve fostered adult cats, hissy kitties, medical kitties, bottle babies, and even an adult dog and a puppy!
