This year, my brother and I are taking on a HYROX race together to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support – a charity that is very close to our hearts.

Macmillan has supported our family personally, helping our grandmother during her battle with cancer, and continues to support close family friends who are currently fighting their own battles. Their care, compassion, and tireless work have made an incredible difference to so many lives, and we want to give back to help them continue doing what they do best.

We chose HYROX because it's a true test of strength, endurance, and resilience – qualities that reflect the fight so many people face every day when dealing with cancer. It’s not just a race for us; it’s a way of showing solidarity, raising awareness, and supporting an incredible cause that means so much to so many.

Every donation, big or small, will go directly to Macmillan to fund vital services – from specialist nurses and emotional support to practical help for families in need.
