Sibford Gower Primary School Beech Class marathon fundraiser

Over the coming weeks, the children will be training in school to build up their stamina and prepare to run 1 mile each in a fun and energetic in-school event. Their combined miles will add up to our very own ‘marathon’ which will take place on school grounds.

This event has a purpose beyond fitness — we are using it as a way to raise funds to help subsidise our Summer Term class trip to the Didcot Railway Centre. The cost of transport and entry is significant, and we hope to cover these costs through this fun, fundraising activity.

Should we be fortunate enough to raise any extra funds beyond the cost of the trip, these will go towards enhancing our learning experiences, including buying seeds for planting as part of our science curriculum or purchasing equipment for our projects in Art, Design and Technology.

We are asking for donations in support of the children’s efforts. Any amount, large or small, will be greatly appreciated and will go directly to enriching the children’s educational experiences. Many thanks for your support.
