SiB Cafe

SiB Cafe is an indie bookstore and artisan cafe with a liquor license that will host literary events and offer a safe, relaxed place for patrons. We will be a unique space for bibliophiles, readers, writers, and those with a general interest in literature to have a place to meet, greet, drink, and eat.

The money will be used to pay for the start-up costs associated with licensing, fees, insurance, accounting, and legal. We're seeking immediate funding for this stage.

The bookstore/cafe is a dream of mine I've had for many years, ever since I started the St. Louis Indie Book Fair. I want to continue to foster writers and encouraging reading and thoughtful discussion. I've procrastinated starting this venture because there was always something stopping me. Usually me. But a few things have recently developed in me and have manifested around me--mainly the perfect venue--that tells me now is the time to move, funds be damned, and trust this is my moment.
