I just want to be clear this money is to help me, and not my mom! It’s allowing me to give her my full support and step away from my job but this money won’t directly affect her treatment in any way.

At the end of the year I will be headed to NY to be a full time caretaker for my mom as she recovers from a bone marrow transplant. In this time I’ll be taking a leave from my job, and any money raised here will go toward travel expenses, keeping my bills paid while I am gone, and helping with groceries or any other expenses we deal with in this time. This will help me be able to give my mom’s care my full attention.
