Stormy’s Recovery

Hi, My name is Chontelle. I am the mother of Stormy’s daughter and also still a great friend of Stormy’s. December 2020 brought us some devastating news that stormy hasn’t been able to catch a break from. Testicular cancer turning metastatic into the lungs, abdomen, and chest. Stormy underwent 21 day cycles of chemo and spent 4 months in sunshine hospital while going through this. Then he lost feeling in one side of his body and

began slurring and unable to make sentences. They took him for a test and seen there were 2 brain tumours he was rushed for surgery to remove the one in the frontal lobe and he had to have radiation for the one in the back. After this he was able to have hospital in the home and he was discharged from the hospital. When he arrived home things were running smoothly until he was hit with more news that the radiation hasn’t work and he had a second growth in the brain both of 5cms. Back to surgery he went to have a second brain tumour removed, As it stands stormy is currently in hospital after he has been hit with a large infection in his head and they don’t know where it is. He is now with Peter Mac and having intensive chemo but at currently at royal Melbourne while they try to contain the infection. The reason for my go fund me is during this time stormy has not been Eligible for any kind of government assistance as he was born in New Zealand and didn’t arrive here before the laws changed. It has been hard financially for him to survive as well as heal from multiple surgeries so I thought I would try something new. He is never one to ask for help and will hate that I have made this as he told me from the start not to, but I know deep down he really needs and would appreciate the assistance.
