Shyti Family House Fire - Everything Lost

Hi, my name is KP, and I am fundraising for my neighbour Anesti Shyti (dad) and his family Klarita (mom) & Gjergji (son). Their house caught on fire on December 10th, 2022 and everything was lost. It happened in Malvern, Scarborough.

The family was having a nice dinner with friends from New York. It was around 9:15pm when Anesti smelled smoke. He went outside to check what had happened. Something caught fire in the carport. When he opened the door, the flame rushed inside the house. He warned his family and friends. They quickly ran outside in their socks. Anesti ran to the neighbours to warn them about the housefire. By 9:30pm, the fire had engulfed the whole house.

Luckily, no one is injured. Unfortunately, the house and everything in it is a complete loss. Rebuilding their life will take time. The most crucial things right now will be finding a place to reside and buying new clothes and items for the family.
