With deep sorrow, we share the passing of Shyam, a friend and valued member of our group, who passed away on January 12 in India due to a massive heart attack while undergoing treatment after several years of declining health. Shyam had been an integral part of our community since 2014 and actively participated in the Atirudrams in 2015 and 2017, as well as Maharudrams and many other community events, remaining involved as long as his health permitted. He is survived by his wife and two young children, who now face an unexpected and difficult future.

Our hearts and prayers are with Shyam’s family during this time of profound loss. May he attain Shiva Sannidhānam, and may Eshwara grant strength and courage to his loved ones. As a group, we are coming together to support his family by creating an emergency fund to help with immediate needs and to provide future stability, including the children’s education. There is no fixed fundraising goal—any contribution, big or small, will go toward supporting the family during this difficult time.
