TODAY WE RECEIVED NOTICE THAT WE ARE BEING FINED $5,000.

This is an extremely "sad" day for Sherri and I. We attempted to comply with the CPUC's request to take down our website, which we did. Now they want me to go searching for places that our name shows up, of which we have never advertised with these companies (Foursquare, Google, Yelp and others) to have anything that has to do with our business removed. What a nightmare this is. None of the companies have phone numbers to call, all they will let you do send a text message and get back to you, which thus far isn't working.

Here's the scoop, I am being fined $5,000 that I have to pay up by 11/20/23. Sherri and I didn't make really anything, our tax returns show a loss for the past 3 years. We don't have this kind of money. We thank everyone that voted us business of the year. We thought that we were providing a services that Uber/Lyft didn't come our our way much.

Unfortunately, for the area we were serving they are bringing us to our knees. I will say there are 30 other people in this area that are providing airport or local ride service and you will be next to receive a $5,000 fine. We are trying to comply but they want $1,500 for the application, Commercial Vehicle insurance that runs $1,000 to $1,500 a month, title to the vehicles to be in the business name and if there is a loan on them to be changed to a commercial loan.

Sherri and I are both disabled and only have our disability income to survive on. Our rent or rent elsewhere right now is astronomical.

We regret have to inform you that they issued a Cease and Desist order on us. We are no longer allowed to operate unless we meet all the criteria above. Anyway you look at it we don't have those kind of funds around and with Christmas coming we have 9 grandchildren that will be expecting something from grandma and grandpa,

I will say it has been a pleasure serving all of the nearly 700 clients we have gained in the past 9 months.
