Objective:
Traveling to Ecuador, climbing one of tallest mountains on Earth, and filming a shuffle video on the top - Mt. Chimborazo.
About Chimborazo:
Chimborazo is an inactive volcano located in the Andes Mountains. It is the highest peak near the equator. It’s elevation above sea level is 20,549 feet or 6,263 meters. It’s location along the equatorial bulge makes its summit the furthest point on the Earths surface from Earths center. That makes Chimborazo the closest point on Earth to the stars!
The Back Story:
You know that feeling like you’re just meant to do something?
I now know I have been training for this expedition for my whole life. The many years of hiking and dancing at high altitudes was just the beginning…. Back when I had first started posting dance videos on Youtube, I stumbled across a dancer free stepping to drum’n’bass under a Brooklyn bridge, and we were both inspired by each others practice videos. Little did we know, years later, our paths finally crossed- and I met Mr. Mafla, the founder of the underground shuffle crew in NYC, Shuffle Over Everything. We ended up getting trapped in the venue at EDC Vegas, 2017 for 7 hours because they were having troubles with transportation… So this is where we started discussing- and Chris told me about his expedition and amazing ideas! A couple months later- I was invited to make Shuffle History, and film on top of the world! Filming and dancing across our mother earth is my passion in life so I knew it was meant to be. I feel blessed to be a part of such an incredible opportunity and adventure!
What now?
So, I will be working and training for the next month to make sure I am prepared for this journey of a lifetime. We will be filming and documenting our quest to conquer the inactive volcano, Chimborazo. We invite YOU to be involved in the making of Shuffle History! Anything helps to make this dream a reality, if we join together with team work we can create something that has never happened before, EVER!
