My name is Autumn. Connor Eaton is my fiancé and the father of two young girls, and I have a daughter of my own.

On December 12th, we got a phone call that nobody wants to receive. There was a terrible car accident on I-65 at the 305 exit.

Connor was the driver of one of the vehicles in the accident. He was airlifted to UAB Hospital and rushed into surgery for a craniectomy due to a brain bleed. He was on the ventilator for 4 days, but he began to breathe well enough to have it removed. Then, shortly after, he had his drain tube removed.

He spent his birthday in the NICU, where we met some of the best doctors and nurses.

Connor spent a week in the Spain Rehabilitation Center with therapists. He really gave it his all.

Connor was able to make it home on December 24th, Christmas Eve, to spend time with his family.

On December 28th, Connor had a complication that led to him being transported back to UAB. He is currently having more brain tests done, and he has a cardiac issue that has arisen, and they are monitoring his heart closely.

In April, someone pulled out infront of Connor while he was on his motorcycle, breaking his elbow in multiple places, which caused him to be out of work for a while. We finally got back on our feet from that incident, but we basically depleted our savings. We made it through Christmas, but we also know it will be a minimum of 6 months before Connor can work again.

I'm making this GoFundMe to help ease our minds on bills and necessities.

Even if you can’t donate, please share and continue to pray for Connor and his recovery! We know God has everything under control, and I want to say thank you to everyone who has reached out, all the family and friends, and a community that comes together in these times. In the mix of all emotions, it's a nice feeling knowing so many people care.
Update 1/2 : Connor is home, we came home 12/30. They said that there was a lot more cerebrospinal fluid which is going down now, you can tell just by looking at him. we originally had believed connor had a seizure December 28 and thats what lead us back to UAB.
They did brain scans and nothing indicated a seizure. They believe his episode was caused by Wolff Parkinson White Syndrome /vasodilation.
He is gonna be receiving a heart monitor in the mail and will be having multiple follow up appointments.
I want to thank yall so much for the donations and the love and support. it means the most.
